Fulfilling the Promise of Mobility
For military installations, the promise of broadband mobility often seems tempered by the hard reality of their complex work environments.
The idea of providing employees with ready access to the information and services they need, wherever and whenever they need it, is complicated by the broad range of work settings—from traditional offices to warehouses and flight lines—and by demanding security and performance requirements.
The 7th Mobile Technology Summit on November 29th will bring together IT leaders from DOD and beyond to discuss IT and policy strategies for fulfilling the promise of mobility. Additionally, the summit will spotlight the evolving role of mobility in helping DOD, FEMA and other personnel who are deployed in the wake of a disaster.
