AFCEA DC February Virtual Event

The Pentagon’s Joint Artificial Intelligence Center has made significant strides accelerating the use of AI across the Defense Department and military services. When JAIC was launched in 2018, there were only a handful of projects using AI in an operational way.  Now more projects are in various stages of maturity across the department in each of the armed services. AI and machine learning are being applied in areas such as simulation and training, predictive maintenance, C4ISR, cyber operations and functional and combat support.

However, the AI push is still uneven across DoD. Some projects are robust, and others are in their basic research stages. The DOD is looking to move beyond building products that demonstrate AI application possibilities to creating an AI service hub.

Please join AFCEA DC on February 9, 2021 to hear DoD leaders and technology experts discuss how the DoD enterprise and warfighting functions can apply AI/ML in their workflows, processes, and missions in ways they might not have imagined.
